Due Date: T 11/29 in hard copy (stapled) at the beginning of class.

Please note: although the fact sheet isn’t formally due until 11/29, it is the basis of the research you’ll need to conduct and synthesize for your critical essay. Therefore, I encourage you to work on the fact sheet early and often.

Here is the link to the ENG 3050 Fact Sheet Assignment. Please download this document and fill it in as it’s set up. Please be sure to include your name at the top. Print your worksheet when its complete (along with the works cited page), staple it, and turn it in in hard copy at the beginning of class on T 11/29.

This assignment is designed as a scavenger hunt. It’s supposed to be challenging, and you’re supposed to have to do some reading and digging to figure out how to complete the worksheet and the works cited page that follows it. Your MLA Handbook should be a crucial resource for you as you work through the worksheet. I will not be available to help you with this assignment because I created it specifically to encourage you learn how to figure out the information it requests on your own. We’ll address tricky problems as a class in the workshop scheduled for 11/22. Meanwhile, this assignment is an excellent opportunity for you to talk to WSU Library staff: check out all the ways you can Ask a Librarian.
